Reviews
Stopped by for some amala and ewedu. It was the end of the day so they were out of a few things but service was friendly. Restaurant is small but clean and prices are decent. The amala was quite tasty and the meat was not too tough as is typical with most Naija spots.
The place is very dirty and you can tell just from the front door entrance alone. The inside could use some cleaning as well. The lady serving the food looks Hispanic and appears miserable. No good customer service and each time I asked a question she seemed irritated. The Egusi was okay but the meat was very hard!!!! Like it was barely cooked. Pounded yam was big and tasted funny, not what I prepare at home.
I had Egusi stew with tripe and fufu. It was The Best I Ever had! DELICIOUS. The guy was a typical guy at the counter serving food but the African lady was very helpful and sweet. I will be back.
I have been in search of the best Nigerian food in Georgia. I think it is safe to say the African Grill in Stone Mountain is the best. For $81 including tip, this was disgusting. My rice was extremely burnt and so was the beef, the ogbono soup should have been name "Oh no soup." The fish was good until you reached the soup. I must say your okro soup was the best out of all the restaurants. Unfortunately, this is how much of it will be thrown away. I should have listened when my Nigerian friend said," No no no no."
My son and I wanted to try something new. The service was excellent..the young man at the front went above and beyond on his service. He insisted that I sample the food before buying and he gave large us large samples to taste...food was great and we will definitely give back..
It’s west African food. They have lots of varieties and food are made fresh each day. My go to is their okra and wheat fufu. The spice level is moderate
Very neat and good service. The food is very affordable compared to others. Definitely going back because the food was well cooked
It was my first time trying Toyin. The African man was very friendly & helpful with my selection. I was sadly too late to try the puff puff or moi moi (sold out) I ordered the jollof rice with fish & dodo. It was delicious & not too spicy. I will come back again to explore the menu & try the well known puff puff & more.
